Our dental practice is open for all routine appointments to NHS patients who have attended within the last two years . If you need a dentist please contact us by phone and you will be given advice or offered an appointment if appropriate. For those who have been unable to make an appointment with us and require urgent NHS dental care you can still use NHS 111 online who will direct you to local practices offering unscheduled sessions. We are able to offer treatment to the following vulnerable groups through Thames Valley NHS :
Patients with a learning disability
Looked after children
Homeless people
Families of armed forces personnel
Asylum seekers and refugees
Residents of care homes who are able to attend the dental practice for treatment
Patients who need dental check ups in support of hospital treatment
Pregnant and nursing mothers
Other groups who may be locally identified as more vulnerable and would find it hard to access services ordinarily
We are committed to improving the quality of dental care we offer and have been actively participating in NIHR national clinical research projects: looking into the effect of lifestyle choices on oral health (ENHANCE-D), the best way of treating deep tooth decay (SCRiPT) and alternative ways to treat toothache (PIP). We would like to thank our patients who have agreed to be part of the studies and helped to make us a lead national recruiter.
